Recently, a grand commissioning ceremony was held for CHOPE's 2500t/d clinker production line project in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. Important guests such as the governor of Samarkand, representatives of the project owner, and Liu Jianhua, the executive vice-president of CHOPE, attended the ceremony. With the official commissioning and operation of the project, it marks the successful completion of the construction task of this key overseas project and its entry into a new stage of production. This project took only 18 months from signing the contract to commissioning, and achieved the designed production capacity immediately after ignition. Both the construction efficiency and commissioning quality have reached the local advanced level. It is another key project implemented by CHOPE in the Central Asian region under the Belt and Road Initiative.
This project is the second cooperation between CHOPE and the Samarkand Cement. The construction period of this project was relatively long, covering the New Year's Day and Spring Festival holidays, and experiencing the low-temperature construction environment in winter. CHOPE's team coordinated the construction plan rationally, overcame various difficulties actively, and controlled the quality of the whole process of design, equipment, and construction strictly, completing the project with guaranteed quality and quantity.
This production line is the fifth cement production line built and put into operation by CHOPE in Uzbekistan, which is of great significance to the CHOPE's overseas business layout. Uzbekistan is located in an important position along the Belt and Road. The local infrastructure market is stable. And its demand continues to increase. Over the years, CHOPE has continued to root the Central Asian market. Relying on multiple finished projects, CHOPE has accumulated a good reputation and brand recognition. Currently, Uzbekistan has become an important point for CHOPE to expand its overseas business in Central Asia.
The commissioning of this project marks the completion of the current project construction work and also lays a good foundation for the subsequent cooperation with the Samarkand Cement. Next, CHOPE will continue to root the Central Asia market and contribute to infrastructure construction and regional cooperation, adhere to the work principles of controlling project quality strictly, fulfilling contracts efficiently, and promoting the construction of overseas projects steadily.
