The four-bar linkage support project for the grate cooler of Lafargeholcim Shuangma Cement Co., Ltd., undertaken by CHOPE Group, was successfully ignited on July 22, 2024 at 22:00 after 22 days of intensive construction and was successfully put into operation on July 23 at 19:00.

At present, the equipment is running stably, the working conditions are good, and the production quality meets the standards. The renovation work of this project has successfully completed the high standard requirements for construction period and quality proposed by the owner, and the owner has given full recognition.

The key points of the project renovation include:

1: The original four-bar linkage motion mode of the grate bed has been replaced with a support/stop wheel support device, retaining the original grate plate main beam and grate bed support columns, beams, etc. Increase module strength; The supporting device of the supporting/blocking wheel is convenient for refueling;

2: Replace the original oil cylinder seat and fixed base plate, and redesign and manufacture the oil cylinder base seat;

3: Replace the compartment seal of the grate cooler;

4: Replace all sealing strips of the grate cooler and optimize the sealing strip structure with a dimensional error of ± 1mm.

This project requires "protective demolition" to overcome difficulties such as a shortage of on-site management personnel, a large amount of construction work, and a narrow construction site during the implementation process. With the concerted efforts of various departments in the company and the diligent work of construction personnel day and night, the project was successfully put into operation on schedule.
